How to: Shop Smart, Shop Fun, Shop Together

Image
Hello loves! In following with my blog's motto of "Small Price Tags," I wanted to share with you what exactly I meant by that. Not literal miniature sized price tags, but rather ways to save money, to get individualized looks, and to support a community of fellow fashionistas on a budget.

Shop Smart:Ebates.com is most simply described as a way to make money to shop online. There is no catch! All you have to do is sign up and you will immediately get a $10 gift card mailed to you from a list of pre-selected stores. After that, each time you shop online you simply have to go to Ebates.com, check if that store is covered (which by the way, most well-known stores are), and continue to shop through the new window that is opened. If you use Google Chrome, there is an add-on extension that let's you activate the cash-back process right from that same store window! What's In My Bag?: Travel Edition

Image
Hello loves! Since I am off to Punta Cana tomorrow, I decided to share with you all what's inside my travel bag! While my everyday work bag is stuffed with everything and anything one could possibly need, my carry on purse is limited to strictly essentials.
What's Keeping Me Busy: I have to have a book with me at all times, especially when I'm traveling. It's good to have for long flights without TV, layovers, or just laying out on the beach. She has continually been one of my biggest inspirations throughout life and now to have started this blog.

For my 24th birthday, we decided to go all out and do what we love best: (1) eat, (2) laugh, and (3) dress up. Thanks to her, we were able to overindulge at a typically expensive restaurant and see Jim Parsons star in An Act of God.
Because the dress is such a simple windowpane pattern, I knew that some pops of color would make the outfit stand out more. Being that my absolute favorite color is green, I needed to have at least one part of my outfit to be that color. Sticking with my mantra of tasteful looks for inexpensive prices, I'd like to let you all know that I bought the dress for under $20, the shoes for under $35 (as a Posh find), and the purse for under $40. While I opted …
