Black, White, and Some Pops of Color
Good morning loves! It's only fitting that my first post shares with you all the love I have for my best friend of 20+ years, Maryanne and our shared love of fashion (most importantly, shoes). She has continually been one of my biggest inspirations throughout life and now to have started this blog.
For my 24th birthday, we decided to go all out and do what we love best: (1) eat, (2) laugh, and (3) dress up. Thanks to her, we were able to overindulge at a typically expensive restaurant and see Jim Parsons star in An Act of God.

Because the dress is such a simple windowpane pattern, I knew that some pops of color would make the outfit stand out more. Being that my absolute favorite color is green, I needed to have at least one part of my outfit to be that color. Sticking with my mantra of tasteful looks for inexpensive prices, I'd like to let you all know that I bought the dress for under $20, the shoes for under $35 (as a Posh find), and the purse for under $40. While I opted for the color route with royal blue pumps and a hunter green bag, Maryanne went 100% monochrome with black and white from head to toe. Check out our looks below!
