Transitional Style: One Dress, Three Outfits

Hi loves! In honor of Fall quickly creeping up on us folks here in NYC, I've decided to style one of my oldest (but still favorite) dresses in three different ways that scream, "Fall is here .. but not quite!" Because my day-to-day life as a preschool teacher requires me to move in every which way possible, I wanted to keep my outfits simple, casual, and flexible between events. Lulu's has a super cute shift dress that is similar to mine and that I just might grab for myself pretty soon! I decided to keep the color combinations very neutral to highlight the dress simply because green is my favorite color. Check out the looks below!

Dress: Arden B (old, similar, similar)
In my first look, I paired the dress with some taupe booties from Steve Madden that I got as a gift priced for only $20 (cause everyone knows I love a good deal)! To keep the outfit casual but cute for a daytime date look, I added a denim jacket and simple black bag.
Jacket: H&M (similar) | Shoes: Steve Madden (similarsimilar) | Necklace: H&M (similar) | Bag: Tory Burch (similarsimilar)

In my next look, I went for a more comfortable yet chic look with a leather jacket and leopard slip on sneakers. Anyone who knows me, knows that I have an obsession with leopard and snake prints so I will try to match them with anything and everything I can. These slip on's are real calf hair and priced at only $44 right now!

Jacket: Blank NYC (similarsimilar, similar) | Shoes: J. Crew Factory (similar) | Bag: Coach (old, similarsimilar) | Sunnies: H&M

In my last look, I went with a more professional look that I would consider the most comfortable for work. I paired the dress with my current obsession, lace up flats, that I got for only $16. The necklace adds a sort of classy quality to a simple cotton dress.

Sweater: H&M (similar) | Shoes: Qupid | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (similarsimilarsimilar) | Necklace: H&M (similar)

I hope that you all were inspired by this Small Price Tags post that allows the frugal person inside each of us to make the best use of everything we've got. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Love the looks! Steve Madden boots for $20?! Where did he find this deal?

    1. Haha, I love my deals! But actually, I found it and I happened to show it to him so it was his surprise gift to me. Look at how creative he is. :P

Check out! They have great deals! I actually prefer it over DSW and Famous Footwear.

  2. First look with boots is my favorite! Each one is lovely but somehow I loved the first one the most!
