Fall Weddings: Aurora Red x White

If I had to narrow down my list of things that make me happiest, weddings would definitely have to be one of them. There is nothing more momentous and beautiful than when you get to be a part of a couple's union. This past weekend I got to witness one of my own, a fellow teacher and TC alum, get hitched to who I can only describe as her perfect match. So of course I had to go all out for my outfits but who would've known that fall weddings are actually kind of difficult to dress for?

Since the temperature is quickly dropping here in NYC, I'm in a constant state of "What do I wear?" When planning for an event in the fall or winter time, you have to think ahead. Do I want sleeves or no sleeves? What kind of outerwear will look good with the outfit? Is it too cold to wear open-toed shoes? These are all questions I debated myself. After a long hunt for the perfect outfits, I opted for a shift dress in a color that absolutely screams fall. Combined with some bell sleeves, cold shoulders, and perspex heels, I felt like I was able to stay on trend while also being comfortable and warm. Check out the outfit details below.

Dress: American Eagle Outfitters (similar, similar) | Shoes: ASOS (similar, similar, similar) | Accessories: YoIns

Are you prepared to conquer a fall wedding yet? If not, come back on Friday to see how I styled a tulle skirt for the reception.
